Acctron is specialized in innovative methods for surface and material testing and documentation.

The core competences include determination of functional properties of materials, e.g. in-situ micro-tribology with high local resolution, abrasion, total deformation, hardness, scratch resistance, as well as human-physiological effects like tactile and visual appearance.

Acctron operates its own independent laboratory at the Technology Centre of the Federal Institute of Materials Science & Technology (EMPA) in St.Gallen.
